Beautiful color prints in about a minute with no hassles. Sound too good to be true? Well, I can assure you that it is not a fantasy.
All parts are made from heavy gauge black ABS plastic, which is very resistant to cracking and ought to last indefinitely. Electrical wiring is very clean and neat (yes, I took it apart to see) and well away from any wet areas. The drive motor is in a separate protruding housing in the rear and the rollers are belt driven.
As I have said many times in the past, my favorite sort of photographic equipment is something which is simple, does what it is supposed to do with a minimum of hassle and just keeps on working. The Do Mac processor fits that description perfectly.

Do Mac Processors
While I was in Florida in late March and early April I had a chance to visit the Do Mac manufacturing facility and meet with their President, Bob McDonald. The manufacturing facility is in Delray Beach, Florida.
It was very impressive to see how the processors are manufactured and talk with Bob about all the little aspects of their production. If any of you are going to be in the Florida area and are interested in Do Mac, I would urge you to give Bob a call and see if he has time to meet with you.
As most of you know, I've been using a Do Mac processor here at the BAT Cave for over a year. It is a great machine and so very simple to clean. It's ideal for the small volume lab where the convenience of a roller transport processor is needed.
Do Mac has a 16" throat, and uses one liter of fluid in each of its two tanks. It has only three pairs of rubber rollers. It is sooooo simple! See the ad in this issue of ColorBAT for further details.
